PAT Testing

Furnival Sound are now able to offer PAT testing at competitive prices.

It is now becoming compulsory in most venues and hotels to have PAT tests carried out on all of your Electrical Equipment. This is everything from lighting and PA rigs down to the Kettle lead for your Guitar amp. We have known some hotels refuse to let bands play without the required PAT test and associated certificates and this has then let down guests of Weddings etc.

We offer very competetive prices on PAT testing which is fully inclusive with no hidden extra`s other than travelling expenses for small quantites of items to be tested. Don`t be fooled by cheap prices that have minimum quantities to be tested. We aim our service at Musicians who don`t have 1000`s of items to be tested. We can offer a mobile service or to keep costs down for you, you may bring the items to our workshop near to Heathrow Airport.

Free Repairs

Minor faults found during the course of the inspection will be repaired as we find them and the appliance re-tested. All minor repairs are carried out free of charge, including the following:

Replacement of faulty or damaged mains plug (BS1363)
Replacement of damaged or incorrectly rated fuses
Re-wiring of incorrect connections in the mains plug
Repair to faulty cable grips in the mains plug
Minor repairs requiring less than ten minutes labour
Re-test following repair

We provide a mobile PAT testing service in the Slough, Windsor, Reading, Maidenhead, Newbury , Wokingham , Bracknell , High Wycombe , Pangbourne, whitchurch, Wallingford, Goring, Streetley, Heathrow, Staines, Chertsey , Woking ,Uxbridge and west London Areas. You may also bring your equipment to our base in Colnbrook , Berkshire to be tested.
